The Sandpiper

The Sandpiper

One of the most exclusive hotels in the West Indies, the Sandpiper is a joy to behold. The proprietors, Wayne and Karen Capaldi, provide pampered privacy where top-class service is combined with the warmest Caribbean hospitality.

Superior accommodation

All the rooms and suites at the Sandpiper overlook the Caribbean Sea and the tropical garden, with its orchids, coconut trees and koi ponds.

For the ultimate luxury experience, stay in a Tree Top Suite with a bedroom, spacious living room, dressing area and plush bathroom. Suites have their own terrace and a complimentary starter bar stocked with a variety of spirits and non-alcoholic drinks.

The open sun deck has a plunge pool if you want to cool down during the day, while the media centre and its selection of movies and music will keep you entertained at night.

Whichever room you stay in, the Sandpiper is the perfect place for guests who appreciate the finer things in life.

Beach life

The Sandpiper Hotel is situated on a sandy beach where you can relax on sun loungers, swim in the turquoise water or snorkel among the brightly coloured fish.

Dining, drinking and entertainment

The hotel’s executive chef and his team offer dishes with an authentic Caribbean flavour. The dinner menu also changes five times a week to provide a wide range of European, Asian and fusion dishes made with fresh ingredients.

Harold’s bar, which is situated on the idyllic beach, offers alfresco lunches and a range of tropical cocktails.

The Sandpiper provides varied nighttime entertainment too, including calypso, jazz and reggae music. On Wednesday evening, the owner’s host a cocktail party and sumptuous buffet, while every Saturday is the much-anticipated grill night, with a selection of meats, fish and seafood cooked to order. Steelpan music accompanies this glorious feast.

If you want a luxury hotel that has a relaxed style and intimate charm, the Sandpiper is the ideal choice for you.
