The Oberoi Beach Resort, Mauritius

The Oberoi Beach Resort, Mauritius

Unlike any other hotel in Mauritius, The Oberoi Beach Resort Mauritius offers the last word in beachside luxury. Perched on the edge of the white sands of Turtle Beach, guests at The Oberoi enjoy 600 meters of private white sandy beaches and stunning aquamarine waters.

A charming choice of accommodation

The resort comprises an attractive array of thatched-roofed pavilions and villas. These are bright, spacious and comfortably appointed with top quality furnishings. Using local materials including cane, wood and marble, each accommodation enjoys its own private garden, whilst some villas are equipped with a private pool.

A range of dining options

The Oberoi is proud to offer guests a choice of dining options. The Restaurant offers al fresco flavours inspired by Creole, French, and Asian cuisine. For beachside dining, On the Rocks – perched on volcanic rocks – is a great place for pizza and cocktails whilst you sink your feet into the sand. The Oberoi also boasts two private dining rooms. The Gunpowder Room serves gourmet Creole and Japanese fare for a maximum of 12 guests, making it perfect for intimate dinners. Fire N Smoke at The Herb Trail specializes in communal dinners of smoked meat and fish cooked in an underground fire pit.

Time to unwind

The Oberoi is fortunate to have stunning coral just off the beach. Grab a snorkel and explore. At the spa, choose from a selection of unique therapies and sensory experiences, including massage, facials, and the not to be missed ‘African experience’ treatment, featuring touch and sound therapies. A fitness centre is available for gym enthusiasts and tennis courts within the hotel grounds can also be booked for a game or two. The hotel boasts two pools. The Lagoon Pool overlooks the Indian Ocean whilst the secluded Turtle Bay Pool, which is reserved for adults only, is set amongst the aromatic gardens.
