The Alexander Estate

The Alexander Estate

Dreaming of an indulgent escape to Cape Town’s breathtaking coastline? Retreat to The Alexander Estate, a secluded coastal vineyard sanctuary nestled at the base of iconic Chapman’s Peak Drive. Blending vineyard tranquillity, ocean air and dramatic mountain scenery, this luxurious retreat offers an extraordinary sense of calm and refined elegance within easy reach of Cape Town’s most celebrated attractions.

A suite with a view

Spread across the Alexander Manor House, the Owner’s Vineyard Villa and its show stopping Penthouse Suite, the estate offers beautifully curated spaces that merge contemporary luxury with soulful South African charm. Expect panoramic vistas of vineyards, mountains and ocean through expansive timber framed windows, with each suite featuring fireplaces, serene lounges, private decks and, in the Vineyard Villa, heated plunge pools for the ultimate secluded escape.

Looking to unwind?

Between the vines and the mountains lies a tranquil outdoor pool terrace overlooking Noordhoek’s dramatic natural amphitheatre. Long, sunlit days can be spent relaxing under ancient oaks, enjoying transformative wellness rituals at the Vineyard Spa, or savouring peaceful moments at the estate’s private Echo Dam, the perfect spot for quiet reflection or scenic strolls. For those seeking adventure, complimentary e-bikes invite you to explore Chapman’s Peak, coastal trails and the charming village of Noordhoek.

On the estate, enjoy intimate wine tastings on the Cellarmaster’s Deck, personalised cellar tours or slow-living moments among the vineyards. Off-site, curated excursions unlock the beauty of the Cape Peninsula, from wildlife encounters to iconic beaches and dramatic mountain trails.

Feeling peckish?

Dining at The Alexander Estate is an experience in itself. Enjoy vineyard picnics, elegant multi-course dinners, or leisurely breakfasts on the sun-drenched Sunset Deck. Indulge in High Tea at the Limelight Lounge or savour signature wine-and-oyster pairings beneath the ancient oaks. For something truly special, guests can book exclusive Chef’s Table evenings, where bespoke menus showcase South Africa’s finest seasonal ingredients and culinary influences.
