Six Senses Con Dao

Six Senses Con Dao

Six Senses Con Dao is set in a stunning area of Vietnam’s archipelago islands. It is wonderfully remote, although less than an hour’s flight from Ho Chi Min City. The design is contemporary and elegant, while also feeling very Vietnamese.

Natural beauty

Six Senses Con Dao makes the most of the natural surroundings. Every villa overlooks the beach, with unobstructed views over the azure water. The hotel is helping to protect the seagrass beds around the islands as well as the dugongs that depend on them. As a Six Senses Con Dao guest, you can even help to restore the seagrass beds and reefs yourself.

Visit from late May to early October to experience Green Turtles nesting and hatching on one of the local beaches. Earlier in the season, watch the female lay her eggs and help the local rangers move some to a hatchery to protect them. Later in the season, watch the hatchlings emerge from the ground and help to release them. You may even have the opportunity to swim with them.

Visit from February to October for crystal clear water to dive in. Explore the only underwater shipwreck in Vietnam or learn to dive with the experienced team. Hike through the rainforest for a good chance of seeing rare animals such as the Con Dao Long Tailed Macaque and Giant Black Squirrels.

Historic and cultural visits

There are eighteen sites of historic or heritage interest nearby, including a local museum. Learn about life on the islands when Vietnam was a French colony or take a cultural tour with one of the expert guides.

Fantastic for children

Six Senses Con Dao’s ‘A Sense of Laughter’ programme will ensure that your children enjoy the stay as much as you do. What a fantastic place to build sandcastles, explore the jungle or get creative making art from coconut leaves.
