The Sea Cloud began its journey in 1931 when Wall Street businessman E F Hutton commissioned the world's largest yacht. His glamourous wife, socialite Marjorie Merriweather Post adorned the magnificent private yacht with elegant furnishings and flourishes that continue to inspire the Sea Cloud Cruises fleet to this day. An exclusive ship, the Sea Cloud's 64 passengers can enjoy drinks from the lido bar while admiring a star-strewn sky on the majestic open decks before a rejuvenating night's sleep in spacious cabins. A home away from home, guests can disconnect from daily life in sumptuous surroundings while enjoying unrivalled service from the welcoming crew and dedicated cruise director.
The Sea Cloud II and Sea Cloud Spirit both continue the charm of a romantic tall ship with the experience of a private luxury yacht. We have been using Azure to arrange our holidays for over 12 years. Every year usually twice a year, sometimes more, we rely on the experienced team at Chester to provide expert information on our chosen destinations.
