Rosenhof Country House
Situated in Oudtshoorn, known as the gateway to the wondrous Garden Route, Rosenhof Country House was originally a working farmstead and has managed to preserve its authenticity to this day with its yellowwood beams and antique furnishings. For a true taste of rural living in South Africa, not to mention hospitality which is second to none, this is certainly the hotel for you.
Indulgent accommodation
Each of the Rosenhof Country House’s twelve luxury rooms has its own distinct design although each boasts warm, neutral colours and wooden furniture in keeping with the originality of the hotel. The rooms surround the beautiful courtyard area and each has its own private patio together with homely touches like ensuite bathrooms and heated towel rails. The two executive suites are located away from the main house for added privacy and each boasts its own separate lounge and swimming pool.
Dining with a difference
Whilst the Rosenhof Country House boasts a light and airy breakfast room and a cosy dining room, the owners are eager to cater to each guest’s wishes. Should you wish to dine in the wonderful gardens, beside the pool or on one of the verandas, they will be very happy to oblige. As well as a cooked breakfast, rolls, fruits and cereals are available each morning and evening meals feature five courses of delicious Karoo cuisine. Alternatively, why not ask the staff to prepare you a picnic basket to be enjoyed when and where you like?
Kick back and relax
During your stay at the Rosenhof Country House, you will have free access to the fully equipped gym and sauna situated on-site. Indulge in one of the excellent detoxing and re-energising treatments available at the Bliss Spa using herb-infused, TheraNaka products or soak up the sun in the beautiful rose gardens or beside the large, saltwater pool.
