Let the train take the strain
Forge lifelong friendships as your train takes the strain and winds its way through the Canadian wilderness. You will certainly enjoy breathtaking scenery - and thanks to your train hosts - fabulous food and entertainment. By night, however, you can sink into sumptuous comfort in a full-sized, soft bed complete with plump pillows and snug duvets. Rocky Mountaineer Rail’s philosophy is train travel by day, and cosy hotel room by night.
Goldleaf service
You can choose from Silverleaf, Goldleaf or Goldleaf Upgrade hotel options with Rocky Mountaineer Rail. Opt for Silverleaf and rooms will supply every comfort you might need. Treat yourself to Goldleaf hotels and you’ll stay in more extravagant, deluxe accommodation. All properties have restaurants either on-site or within walking distance, so you’ll never have to room too far to be fed either. Extra nights can be added to hotel stays at the end of your trip allowing you to explore Vancouver, Lake Louise or Seattle in your own time. Add-on options for all passengers include Alaskan cruises and sightseeing tours by coach, boat or even helicopter.
Food from the Pacific Northwest
Goldleaf and Silverleaf dining is also offered to train passengers. Meals on Rocky Mountaineer Rail are included with your package, whichever option you choose. Food is inspired by locally-sourced produce, and our chefs relish creating varied, innovative menus for your delectation. Silverleaf passengers may, for example, breakfast on a three cheese omelette, then have grilled salmon for lunch, while Goldleaf customers may plump for Canadian cheddar souffle followed by roasted salmon with smoked sea salt.
