Monteverdi Tuscany

Monteverdi Tuscany

Monteverdi is a secluded year round boutique retreat nestled in Val d’Orcia, one of the loveliest areas of Tuscany, which is not just pretty in the summer. In fact winter is the perfect time to bask in the wellness centre, enjoy concerts by world-class Musicians, a feast of visual art and fine-tuning your Tuscan cooking skills.

Monteverdi comprises a variety of charmingly romantic rooms, suites and privatevillage houses. The Luxury Rooms, Village Suites and Luxury View Suites have been expertly restored using Tuscan limestone, granite and Travertine.

Art, food and beauty go together at Monteverdi. This is quintessential Tuscany, with spellbinding views of gold and green fields, cypress trees and vineyards, and throughout the year there’s also a programme of curated arts in the art gallery as well as musical events in the 14th-century Romanesque church. Meanwhile the renovated Spa and wellness centre, featuring a new underground heated pool with views of the Tuscan countryside, sensory shower and cold plunge pool, will leave you feeling beautiful on the inside too.

The informal fine-dining restaurant, Oreade pays homage to this great agricultural and wine region and the Culinary Academy, in the former village school, boasts a state-of-the-art teaching kitchen so you can take a taste of Tuscany home with you. Opening later in 2023 is Zita – a brand new restaurant with a menu featuring dishes made for sharing.
