Leopard Hills

Leopard Hills is located in the western region of the Sabi Sand Game Reserve beside Kruger National Park. Situated atop a rocky outcrop, it guarantees fabulous views across the verdant plains below and the friendly staff will ensure that your stay is first class in every respect. To experience South Africa at its best, from nature to hospitality, choose Leopard Hills.

Sumptuous suites

Each of the eight luxurious suites is glass-fronted, providing guests with breathtaking views from morning until night. Their interiors reflect the spectacular natural surroundings whilst maintaining the highest standard of living. Each spacious suite boasts its own sun deck, rock plunge pool and double shower as well as offering homely touches such as air-conditioning, bath salts and mini-bar.

Bush cuisine

At Leopard Hills, you will enjoy international cuisine complemented with subtle South African flavours. All meals comprise locally sourced produce and you can choose to dine on one of the outdoor decks, in the airy dining room or in the privacy of your own suite. Full English and continental breakfasts are available each morning and dinner is served in a traditional African boma around a roaring fire.

From dawn until dusk

You will enjoy a safari drive each morning and evening in a state-of-the-art safari vehicle with bucket seats for added comfort. On request, you can also undertake a safari on foot with an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide, providing you with ample opportunities for wildlife photography. Tours to the local village can also be arranged, where you will learn about the local culture and traditions of the South African people.

Leopard Hills boasts a fully equipped gym and excellent treatment sala where you can indulge in a variety of massages and bush treatments. Take a dip in the pool or relax on the glorious sun deck as you absorb the natural wonders surrounding you and contemplate how soon you can return for another visit.

Everything you need to know before planning your dream trip

When to travel
November to February is the busiest time, but March to April and September to October are popular. Whale watchers should visit July to October, whilst May to October is a good time for safaris – it can get cold on game drives so pack a fleece.
How to get there
Your holiday will begin with a British Airways or Virgin Atlantic flight from Heathrow to Johannesburg, or British Airways to Cape Town – the average flying time about 11 hours, although as there is only a 1 hour time difference there’s no tedious jet lag.
