When to travel
With its Mediterranean climate Puglia boasts a longer season than most, with spring being generally warm. Summer is peak season here with long, hot and dry days with temperatures up to 30°C. The autumnal weather typically begins in October, however temperatures generally remain in the 20s until December.
How to get there
British Airways flies daily to Bari from Gatwick and five times a week from Heathrow to Brindisi. Low cost airlines offer alternative timings and direct departures from Stansted and Edinburgh to Bari and Gatwick and Manchester to Brindisi.
