La Zambra Hotel

La Zambra Hotel

Close to the magical white village of Mijas, between Málaga and Marbella, the former Byblos hotel earned a reputation as a hedonistic icon and jet-set favourite in the 80s and 90s and after an extensive renovation it’s welcoming guests once more – renamed La Zambra but having lost none of its rebel spirit.

As part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, La Zambra has 197 rooms and suites, all with sunlit terraces and magnificent views of Mijas mountains and golf courses, are a true platform for discovery highlighting the exquisite Andalusian architecture, distinguished by soft tones, natural fabrics, and traditional craftsmanship. Surprises await in each unique room with bespoke details such as handmade tapestries, custom lampshades and ceramic vases that evoke the carefree Zambra dance that gives the hotel its name.

Mood Spa, the largest spa in Costa del Sol, is a tranquil oasis that encourages disconnection and relaxation with a personalised sensorial journey, ending in pools, Turkish baths or saunas.

Palmito restaurant’s all-day Mediterranean menu caters to diners of all ages from morning to night with distinct displays and an incomparable setting. Picador evokes the atmosphere of a traditional neo tavern with a bold spirit in the heart of Costa del Sol. Bamboleo is a place to let your hair down and move to your own rhythm. Sample the extensive cocktail menu inspired by the great personalities who have passed through this very place and taste dishes and snacks in this perfect meeting spot to enjoy the unmissable sunsets. La Bartola celebrates the spontaneity of Andalusia’s authentic beach bars, that provide poolside relaxed lunches.
