The interior design within each one draws upon modern urban influences, and every room contains all the extras you could require, such as espresso machines, WiFi and HD TV. Typical decor includes custom furniture and framed local black and white photographs, while the colour palette is mainly monochrome with rich touches of golden tones.

Dining options at Hotel Stripes include Brasserie 25, a venue with a relaxed atmosphere that is decorated in classic yet contemporary style. Features include dark wood flooring, 1950s-style sputnik chandeliers and a monochrome scheme with flashes of copper and rich browns. The afternoon tea is a particular highlight, blending Korean, Japanese and Western influences to create a bespoke experience. The industrial style Snug is also available for private dining. Later, guests can head up to the Man Tao rooftop bar to sample the mixologist’s tropical-style cocktails.
