Hotel Savoy, a Rocco Forte Hotel

Hotel Savoy, a Rocco Forte Hotel

Located in the middle of the historic city of Florence, Hotel Savoy, a Rocco Forte Hotel, exudes style and sophistication and has been hosting guests for over a century. Modern and classical art and craft pieces adorn the hotel, while rooms and suites each have their own distinct character, with sumptuous, traditional furnishings and first-class amenities.

Delicious cuisine

Irene, Hotel Savoy’s on-site restaurant, serves delicious Tuscan classics with a modern twist. Using only the freshest local ingredients, Michelin-starred chefs have concocted a menu to delight the senses, serving freshly-cured meats and fish, stunning homemade pastas and unsurpassable Italian desserts, including tiramisu and pea sorbet. By night, Irene’s bar offers a range of classic cocktails and spirits.

A family friendly stay

Hotel Savoy is also perfect if you’re travelling with children. From kids’ menus and complimentary gingerbreads on the pillow, to rubber ducks in the bathroom and books and games consoles for teenagers, youngsters are well catered for. For parents who want to enjoy some much-deserved ‘me-time’, a gym is available for guest use, and some of the most exclusive suites have private aromatherapy steam rooms to complete the relaxation experience.

Amazing Florentine adventures

Ask the concierge service to help you organise activities in the city and excursions to the surrounding countryside. Why not go on a guided walking tour of the city’s renaissance architecture and breathtaking sights like the Grande Museo del Duomo, or the nearby Ponte Vecchio? Alternatively, head off on a wine tasting tour (chianti and montepulciano are produced locally), or explore Tuscany by horseback. The Hotel Savoy also organises excursions to the famous Uffizi, where you can discover the incredible artistic works of Botticelli and Michelangelo. If you’re looking for an unforgettable city break with plenty of opportunities to relax and explore, Hotel Savoy ticks all the right boxes.
