Hotel Byron is a 5 star luxury boutique hotel located in Forte dei Marmiand set in an art deco villa, full of history and art.
Overlooking the sea or private garden, renovated rooms and suites are individually styled, but each showcase Italian art and design with an elegant combination of colour tones, luxurious fabrics and opulent details, such as relaxation nooks and large master baths.
Art plays a big part at Hotel Byron, with the allure of Apuan marble attracting sculptors from all over the world and within the hotel, a space named the Project Room welcomes exhibitions from contemporary artists. At the sophisticated poolside Ristorante La Magnolia, Michelin-starred chef, Marco Bernardo, uses seasonal, local produce to create an array of Tuscan delicacies that he describes as a fusion of Tuscan and Campanian cuisine. The whole family will never forget a picnic on the beach, a pizza cooking class, or Apua Adventure Park with rope bridges, footbridges and nets to lead climbers of all ages safely from tree to tree safely.

When to travel
Winter months are traditionally cool and wet and the summer hot and dry. Meaning the best months to visit are March to June and September to October which also tend to be quieter.
How to get there
British Airways fly to Pisa and Florence from London. Other scheduled airlines offer alternative timings and direct departures to Florence from London City and Gatwick; and to Pisa from a variety of UK airports.
