A remote island paradise, Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru invites guests to enjoy breathtaking tropical scenery in a luxurious setting. It’s a resort of refined elegance where you can sip cocktails on white sand beaches and swim in warm waters among coral reefs and brightly coloured tropical fish.
Idyllic accommodation
The resort offers a total of 103 thatched-roof bungalows and villas, most of which have their own pool, sand-floor living areas, and brilliant sea views. Specialty suites are ideal for families and small groups with spacious decks and sleeping pavilions. Designed with your comfort and convenience in mind, the accommodation offers relaxing rooms and a variety of modern amenities to ensure you have an enjoyable stay.
Dining and drinking
When it comes to food and drink, guests at the Four Seasons are spoilt for choice. Blu offers a range of Italian specialities, while delicious Moroccan food is served at Al Barakat. Café Landaa is the place to go to try Asian cuisine, and for those with a fondness for fish, freshly caught seafood can be found at the Fuego Grill. Guests can choose to dine out, or be served in their accommodation for added privacy. Watch fish swim in the clear water next to the Seabar while sipping margaritas and eating tapas. Alternatively, sink into one of the comfortable sofas at the Shisha bar and sip Turkish coffee.
Activities and experiences
For a day of pure relaxation, head to the resort’s spa, which offers 10 open-air pavilions dedicated to wellness and Ayurveda treatments. You can also enjoy a massage or other spa services in your own accommodation. When you’re not sunbathing on the beach or by the pool, there are many other experiences to try, such as scuba diving, swimming and tennis. You can even take advantage of the Four Season Explorer - a three-deck luxury catamaran that takes guests to remote dive sites. Children are also well catered for at the Kids’ Club, while the Marine Discovery Centre is a great way to learn about marine conservation.
A world first
This is also the first resort in the world to launch DeepFlight’s advanced Super Falcon 3S submarine. Diving to depths of up to 120 feet and offering 360-degree views, this three-person sub takes you on a tour of the Maldives’ only UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, immersing you in a world of sharks, turtles, dolphins and rays.

When to travel
December to April is the high season as the weather is hot, there’s less rainfall and it is the best time to scuba-dive. It is wetter and windier May to October.
