When to travel
Generally, for Mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands, May to
September would be the best months to travel, with temperatures
averaging around 32°C. Climate for mainland Spain during the winter is
generally mild and dry with occasional showers. For Tenerife and Gran
Canaria, August is generally the hottest month, with temperatures
around 32°C. At their coolest, temperatures average around 22°C in
January, making them lovely destinations to visit year-round.
How to get there
Direct flights to Malaga, Mallorca, Alicante and the Canary Islands of
Tenerife and Gran Canaria can be booked easily with low-cost carriers
from most regional UK airports or London. British Airways and Iberia
Airlines also offer an excellent scheduled service.
