Grand Hotel Tremezzo

Grand Hotel Tremezzo

A marvellous art-nouveau building, Grand Hotel Tremezzo, Lake Como, is over 100 years old and affords unparalleled views across the lake and mountains. Rooms are beautifully embellished with gold, marble and rococo details, while many also have their own balconies looking out across the sparkling water and verdant gardens.

Dining options galore

Grand Hotel Tremezzo boasts a number of eateries for guests to enjoy. La Terrazza Gualtiero Marchesi serves Gourmet Italian cuisine featuring Gualtiero Marchesi’s signature dishes on a sunny terrace overlooking the lake, while L’Escale Trattoria & Wine Bar offers Typical Italian cuisine accompanied by the finest wine labels. For something less formal, the poolside pizza bar is a fabulous place to relax. If you’re looking for a romantic setting, private dinners for two can also be arranged in some of the more secluded parts of the hotel.

Excursions for every taste

With its infinity pool and panoramic views over the lake, the T Spa is a tranquil place in which to unwind. Book one of the soothing treatments or spend some time in the Turkish baths. Relaxation is always on the agenda at Grand Hotel Tremezzo, and guests can take advantage of the hotel’s glamorous ‘floating’ pool in the lake, as well as a private beach furnished with comfortable sunloungers.

If you fancy heading further afield, why not embark on a boat excursion and visit some of the picturesque villages dotted around the lake? The hotel rents out a selection of sailing and motorboats for guests who want to navigate the waters. The breathtaking Bellagio, known as ‘the pearl of the Lake’, is well worth a visit.

Alternatively, there are some stunning hiking trails on offer around the lake, which can also be explored on horseback or bicycle. The friendly and knowledgeable hotel staff are on hand to give advice about what routes to take and the best places to visit.
