Cape Lodge

Cape Lodge

Located in the lush Margaret River wine region in Australia’s South Western corner is Cape Lodge. Offering luxurious accommodation and sublime dining, this property really is a fabulous destination for foodies from all over the world.

A room with a view

Rooms at Cape Lodge range from garden view or deluxe rooms to lodge king rooms, lakeside rooms and even The Residence - a detached house that can accommodate eight guests, set in three glorious acres of its own land. Garden view rooms are decorated in classic country garden style, with features such as high, beamed ceilings and plush window seats, while garden deluxe rooms have more space, including a dedicated seating area.
Lodge king deluxe rooms boast 24-hour access to the hotel’s drawing room, while lakeside rooms are roomier still and located right by the water’s edge. All rooms offer modern conveniences like Wi-Fi, flat screen TV with in-house films and a DVD player, a mini fridge and much more.

Long Table Lunches and Harvest Dinners

Dining is definitely one of the highlights of a visit to Cape Lodge. Showcasing local produce from the fertile land around the area, the menu offers French style cuisine. Special events like weekly Chef’s Harvest Dinners and scheduled Long Table lunches offer refined three course menus served with Margaret River wines. A cookery class precedes each Long Table lunch, which guests may opt to participate in if they wish. More casual dining is available in the hotel bar, or dishes can be ordered via room service if guests prefer.

From quaffing to surfing

Beyond the hotel, the Margaret River region is a fabulous place to explore. There are, of course, the world-famous wineries. The area is also the ideal place for sailing, surfing, horse riding, mountain biking and more, plus there are forests, caves and delicious foods to discover too.
