Ca' di Dio
A romantic resort in the most romantic destination, Ca’ di Dio is located at the entrance of the Arsenale area, the city’s design district, where art and architecture meet.
The design concept for this hotel is inspired by the dichotomy of Venice; the secret brick alleyways and grand palaces. Access on foot from the main entrance on the shore or directly by taxi through the ‘watergate’. Inside you’ll discover a lobby reclaimed from the ancient church, an intimate reading room, the Alchemia Bar, Essentia Restaurant and VERO Restaurant with an enchanting view of the Venetian lagoon and the Island of San Giorgio. The unique structure of the building shelters three internal courtyards and rooms and suites are carved from antique spaces once reserved for pilgrims. There are timeless Venetian accents and contemporary finishes, a colour scheme that references reflections of water, beautifully complementing conserved frescos, refined textiles, Murano glass and wooden windows framing views of the spectacle of Venice.

When to travel
November through to January is quieter though the chilly Adriatic winter means you’ll need to wrap up warm, and February is carnival season. March to June is a nice temperature, whereas July to August are the hottest months. September to October is a little cooler and a little quieter, ideal.

British Airways fly to Venice daily from London with low cost airlines offering alternative timings and direct departures including from Gatwick, Luton, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds Bradford, Newcastle and Edinburgh.
