Borgo Pignano

Borgo Pignano

At the heart of this beautiful country estate and organic farm is a charmingly restored 18th century hilltop villa that overlooks the sublime landscape of Tuscany, with views that have remained largely unchanged since Renaissance times.

Highlights of the Tuscan-style interiors include original frescoes, travertine bathrooms and vaulted ceilings for the rooms and suites in the main building. The estate also has a collection of villas with each nestled in the flora Tuscany is famous for. The infinity pool is carved from an ancient limestone quarry and paired with a limestone terrace looking over the rolling Tuscan hills. There’s a new Wellness Centre offering treatments and therapies created using organic flowers, herbs, oils and honeys produced on the estate.

Dining is a whole new experience at Borgo Pignano with the farms free-range pigs and hens provide eggs and meat for the restaurant as well as the olive groves and vineyards producing the signature oils and wines. A gallery showcases contemporary arts and children are kept entertained by clay modelling and creating sculptures of their own.

This serene estate is the perfect backdrop for rest and relaxation with guests having plenty of leisure activities to choose from including spa treatments, yoga, horseback riding, hiking, biking, cooking classes, painting classes, visits to the organic farm, and the resort’s rotating art exhibit.
