&Beyond Klein's Camp

&Beyond Klein's Camp

Unusually, &Beyond Klein’s Camp borders two different national parks – the Maasai Mara and the Serengeti, with incredible views over both. Your wildlife experience starts as soon as you land at the Lobo Airstrip, with your first 90-minute game drive from the airstrip to the camp. You could see herds of elephants or prides of lions before you even arrive in camp.

A wonderful experience for families

Life moves at a leisurely pace in Africa, giving families plenty of time to reconnect with each other, the landscape, wildlife and African people. &Beyond’s WildChild programme creates a series of unforgettable experiences for everyone in the family. A description of the next day’s adventures is even placed on children’s pillows before bedtime, to build a sense of anticipation. Experiences could include tracking, making bows and arrows, learning to cook or helping out in the organic garden, depending on your personal interests.

Front row seats

&Beyond Klein’s Camp is perfectly situated to see the spectacle of the annual Great Migration, where the migration herds travel for many miles, trailed by carnivores looking for their next meal. Our game drives will get you as close as they can to the drama, and when the migrating herds have moved on, our talented guides will search for other game, which is plentiful in the park.

Serious photographers will love our specialist photographic safaris, with a customised vehicle featuring views that are unobstructed, swivel seats that allow you to smoothly follow the action and air conditioning to keep you cool.

Meet a Maasai family

The Maasai people co-exist with the wildlife that surrounds them. You will have a chance to visit a Maasai village, meet one of the families and see the Manyatta huts made from clay and cow dung. You could also spend a day with a young Maasai or watch a ceremony for letting blood from their cattle.
