Castello di Casole, A Belmond Hotel

Castello di Casole, A Belmond Hotel

At the heart of a magnificent 4,200-acre estate sits Castello di Casole, A Belmond Hotel - a castle originating from the 10th century and rebuilt in the 18th century. Now the centrepiece of a decade-long restoration programme, this stunning, world-class resort attracts luxury-seeking travellers year-round.

A world to discover

Beyond the castle, lies a range of suites, all of these have sumptuous interiors made from traditional wood, warm terracotta and local stone to create an authentically Tuscan style. Plush fabrics, fine linens and soft colour palettes are combined with a design that focuses on maximising the natural light, offering a lavish and tranquil retreat.

A true taste of Tuscany

Guests enjoy fine-dining under Murano glass chandeliers at Tosca Restaurant, where traditional Tuscan recipes are made using estate-grown produce and given a modern twist. The restaurant also serves a range of superb wines selected by the estate’s expert sommelier. Simpler, more rustic dishes can be found at Cip's by Cipriani, while Bar Visconti is a must for a pre-dinner Aperitivo Italiano.

Take in your surroundings

There are glorious views from the beautiful heated pool terrace, and the grounds offer countless places to sit and absorb the enchanting vistas. The estate is a trufflers paradise where you can go on a guided hunt all year round, its also a great place to join a wine tour and explore the hundred acres of organic vineyards.

Castello di Casole, A Belmond Hotel boasts a well-equipped fitness centre, with personal training and yoga sessions available. There are also numerous walking and cycling trails throughout the estate, and the Essere Spa offers a full range of relaxing experiences and treatments in a serene setting.
