Azura Quilalea Private Island

Azura Quilalea Private Island

Azura Quilalea is a private island, a retreat away from the hustle of everyday life, but with all the luxuries of a first-class resort. Stay in villas on this Mozambique uninhabited island surrounded by the pristine waters of the Quirimbas Archipelago marine sanctuary.

Forget about the world

Stay in villas where you can relax, unwind and forget about the rest of the world. Each villa is beautiful and spacious so you can get away from it all in style.

Located just footsteps from the beach, the Kasaki Villas are open plan and decorated with natural materials - wood, cotton, rope and pebbles. Kusi Villas are pure African elegance with natural furnishings, outdoor showers and private plunge pools. For a little romance, stay in Villa Quilalea, perched on the cliff top with magnificent views. Climb down the private step ladder to the ocean. Villa Quilalea is the ideal honeymoon spot.

Wining and dining

Start your day with breakfast at the water’s edge, picnic on uninhabited sandy islands and enjoy candlelight dinners on the beach under the stars. Azura specialises in freshly caught seafood including the large and delicious tasting Mangrove Crabs. Expert chefs serve fresh food and will cater to any requests for special dishes.

Relax and have fun

Relax or be more active; the choice is yours. Experience unique African treatments at the spa that use ingredients from the wilds of Africa.

There is plenty of natural beauty to admire too. Take a helicopter trip, flying over coconut plantations and deserted islands, or snorkel beneath the ocean amongst magnificent coral reefs. Watch the local nesting turtles, and in June and July see baby turtles hatching. Or kayak on the water and stargaze on clear nights with the resort's telescope.

For a relaxed getaway luxury holiday surrounded by peaceful pristine beauty, Azura Quilalea is the holiday resort you are looking for.
