Azerai La Residence, Hue

Azerai La Residence, Hue

Formerly an emperor’s palace, Azerai La Residence Hue is now a UNESCO Heritage Site that offers incredible views of the Citadel and the mystical Perfume River. It is the perfect place to base your Vietnamese holiday in Hue.

A palace like no other

The first thing you will notice about La Residence Hue is the gorgeous white palatial entrance, which opens up onto an understated and chic lobby area. Interior décor channels an art deco aesthetic. Rooms, tastefully decorated in cream and chocolate tones, offer a soothing ambience with sumptuous fabrics and stylish floor tiles. Suites have direct access to a private veranda or terrace. The two more modern wings of La Residence Hue – built in 2005 – cradle the salt-water swimming pool at the centre of the complex.

Dine like royalty

The hotel offers a number of dining options. Relax in colonial splendour at the Le Gouverneur Bar, where soft armchairs, classic cocktails and local liquors await you. The brasserie-style Le Parfum serves local and Western cuisine throughout the day, and offers al fresco dining to make the most of those balmy nights on the terrace.

Excellent location

La Residence Hue is well located for easy access to the Citadel, the Imperial City and the majestic Forbidden Purple City. Your concierge can organise a boat trip on the Perfume River or a tour of the magical city of Hue. After a long day spent sight-seeing, relax on the sun deck, or at the bar of the swimming pool; perfectly positioned to watch the sunset. A sauna, Jacuzzi, and steam room are available for you to use. The award-winning spa offers beauty and therapy treatments in relaxing surroundings, whilst the gym is fully equipped with top of the range sports equipment. At Azerai La Residence Hue, there really is something for everyone.
