Auberge du Soleil, Auberge Resorts Collection

Auberge du Soleil, Auberge Resorts Collection

Situated among the rolling vineyards of California’s Napa Valley, Auberge du Soleil is a deluxe retreat. Explore America’s very own Provence-style wine country and soak up the incomparable Californian sunshine at this luxurious, adults-only hideaway that’s well-placed for a restful break from the stresses and strains of daily life.

Sunlit, spacious accommodation

From classic rooms to deluxe suites or private maisons, Auberge du Soleil offers sumptuous accommodation, complemented by superlative levels of service. Comfortable, tranquil classic rooms offer hillside or garden views, and feature cosy fireplaces and private terraces. Deluxe rooms are flooded with light thanks to full-length windows, while classic suites have separate living areas and spacious terraces. Some deluxe suites also boast outdoor bathtubs plus rain shower. Private maisons, meanwhile, have panoramic views over Napa Valley, and offer the ultimate in space and indulgence.

Starry-eyed dining

The Michelin-starred restaurant at Auberge du Soleil is Napa Valley’s original, and finest, venue for those seeking exquisite dining. As easy on the eyes as they are delightful on the palate, the Mediterranean-inspired dishes are inspired by fresh ingredients sourced from the local, fertile Napa valley. You should be able to find the perfect wine match, too, thanks to the hotel’s cellar, which houses 15,000 bottles. Treat yourself to chef’s six-course tasting menu for a truly gastronomic experience: a matching wine flight can be added, too, for a dinner as memorable as it is quintessentially Californian.

Beyond the sun

There’s plenty to keep you busy at Auberge du Soleil, when you’re not revelling in the magnificent vistas or sampling fine food and wine - although wine tasting is obviously a very popular activity in these parts. Hike in the hills or cycle the Silverado Trail, or partake in a spot of pilates or yoga at La Pagode, the hotel’s very own Japanese-inspired pavilion. It is situated in Auberge du Soleil’s sculpture garden, which you can enjoy at your leisure, too.
