Aman-i-Khas

Aman-i-Khas

Aman I Khas is situated in rural Rajasthan in the Aravalli Hills close to where wild tigers roam. This makes the hotel a perfect base for anyone who wishes to take a tiger spotting safari into the wilderness, in search of one of the world’s most magnificent predators. The complex comprises ten deluxe guest tents, a dining tent, a spa tent and a swimming pool. Guests can take part in early morning or late afternoon safaris during their stay.

Luxurious tented accommodation

Ideally positioned on the edge of Ranthambore National Park in Rajasthan, Aman I Khas has ten spacious tents with superb views over the surrounding landscape. Tents are spaced well apart to allow guests maximum privacy and inside each there is a shower plus free-standing bathtub shower, as well as a lounge area with two writing desks. Each area is separated by cotton curtains, and the decor features cream linens alongside rich, warm natural wood furniture.

A Rajasthani feast

Food at Aman I Khas is very much inspired by the organic garden on site. A team of gardeners supply in turn a team of chefs with the freshest herds, vegetables and fruit - most of which will be hand-picked by the chefs themselves. The dining tent offers a cosy, convivial atmosphere in which to dine daily and local specialities include authentic Rajasthani thalis, comprising a mix of curry and dhal dishes served with rice and freshly baked roti. Guests can also enjoy dining by the open-air fire pit or a specially prepared picnic, as well as taking part in a chef-led cooking class.

The spa tent

A trickling fountain is the centrepiece of the resort’s spa tent, which contains two twin treatment rooms in which massages, Reiki rituals and treatments such as scrubs, soaks and wraps take place. Outdoors, there are yoga sessions, plus there is a swimming pool built to resemble the ancient stepwells of the region.
