There, you can tuck into succulent seafood and juicy steaks. Alternatively, Tea by the Sea is served in the spacious conservatory every afternoon, where tasty morsels and sweet treats are accompanied by flavoursome tea infusions. For a creative cocktail, head to the Leopard Bar as the sun goes down.

Enjoy the activities

Offering the latest treatments and therapies, the idyllic spa is perfect for a little self-indulgence, while the kids can enjoy the range of in-house activities especially for them. If you prefer, relax by one of two pools, or try to spot whales and dolphins in the ocean. Or why not take a picnic and venture into the mountains? Table Mountain’s National Park is just waiting to be discovered. With Blue Flag beaches, golf courses, vineyards and outdoor adventures galore, there is plenty to see and do in this gorgeous paradise.

A magical and exceptional place, the 12s Hotel & Spa offers adventures and memories that dreams are made of.

before you go

Everything you need to know before planning your dream trip

When to travel
November to February is the busiest time, but March to April and September to October are popular. Whale watchers should visit July to October, whilst May to October is a good time for safaris – it can get cold on game drives so pack a fleece.
How to get there
Your holiday will begin with a British Airways or Virgin Atlantic flight from Heathrow to Johannesburg, or British Airways to Cape Town – the average flying time about 11 hours, although as there is only a 1 hour time difference there’s no tedious jet lag
