Villas and residences range from one to eight bedrooms. Some are located on the white sand beach, while others are nestled over dazzling lagoons. For a truly unique and secluded experience, two-bedroom treetop pool villas are also available.

The Javvu Spa is dedicated to holistic health and offers a variety of soothing treatments in a secluded spot next to the beach. Treatments include Sensora, a multi-sensory light, sound and vibration therapy, and a selection of Wellness Programmes. If it’s adventure you’re looking for, regular boat trips take guests out to sea to discover a host of marine life, including coral reefs, manta rays, turtles and dolphins. There’s also a range of sporting activities on offer, including beach volleyball, football and tennis. For families with children, the Sultans Village Kids Club provides imagination-fuelled activities for the little ones too. For true nature lovers, Glamp under the stars in a climate-controlled inflatable pod located in a secluded spot on the island.

When to travel

December to April is the high season as the weather is hot, there’s less rainfall and it is the best time to scuba-dive. Between May and November you may experience some showers but it is peak time for Manta Rays at Hanifaru Bay.

How to get there

British Airways flies direct from Gatwick in under 10½ hours. Emirates, Qatar, Etihad, Oman Air and SriLankan Airlines also operate from various UK airport with many offering stop-overs so why not break the journey and enjoy the stimulating contrast between the two destinations?
