Calistoga Ranch, Auberge Resorts Collection

Calistoga Ranch, Auberge Resorts Collection

Before it was known for wine production, California’s Napa Valley was known for its rolling countryside, dotted with emerald forests and freshwater springs, streams and brooks. Calistoga Ranch is positioned in this verdant expanse, offering 50 guest lodges spread across the valley. This sublime getaway combines rustic, country charm with modern amenities to create the perfect place in which to kick back and relax.

Al Fresco living

It’s all about enjoying the very best of outside living at Calistoga Ranch. Deluxe lodges feature outdoor sun decks with fireplace and al fresco shower, with a view of the lush green foliage of the treetops. Bay Forest and Oak Creek one bedroom lodges enjoy spacious, trellised decks with outside fireplaces, while Bay Forest spa lodges have the added bonus of a hot tub too. Two bedroom Estate and Meadow Spa Lodges also boast hot tubs, as well as more in and outdoor living space plus fully-equipped kitchen. Decor is designed to combine sumptuous comfort with a relaxing feel, featuring rich, polished woods and warm, soothing shades as well as original works of art.

Lakeside dining with a vineyard view

Calistoga Ranch keeps its own bees and chickens, and fresh produce is also grown in the on-site gardens. The ranch also uses top-quality ingredients from local suppliers, creating authentic, local cuisine that literally tastes of the Napa Valley. Overlooking Lake Lommel, at The Lakehouse you can enjoy a seasonal local farmer’s vegetable hash, housemade tagliatelle or pacific halibut followed by blood orange tart. The Pool Terrace offers light salads plus substantial sandwiches and burgers with views of the vineyard, while The Lounge is where you can sip a sundowner as the sun sets over the lake.

From Californian valley to African savannah

From a cycling or horseback tour of the vineyards, to zip lining through the forest, there’s lots to keep the whole family amused within easy reach. We also have a trail that leads you direct to a winery. You can even take an African-style safari through the wine lands, featuring giraffes, rhino and buffalo too.
