Monastero Santa Rosa Hotel & Spa

Monastero Santa Rosa Hotel & Spa

Monastero Santa Rosa Hotel & Spa, Conca dei Marini, is perched high on a cliff between Positano and Amalfi. Originally a monastery, the hotel invites guests from around the world to enjoy top-class service and spectacular views over the bay of Salerno.

Luxury Living in a Past Era

Monastero Santa Rosa is a relaxing sanctuary with a spiritual atmosphere. Each of the 20 rooms and suites is named after a medicinal herb grown in the hotel’s gardens and has been created by a local Neapolitan designer. Suites are individually styled and contain Italian antiques handpicked by the hotel owner from all over Italy. Some have spacious living areas, dining rooms and outside terraces with sea views.

Michelin-Star Food

The Michelin-starred restaurant, Il Refettorio, offers a Mediterranean fine dining experience. Many of the menu’s dishes feature locally-caught seafood, including lobster with chickpea puree and bacon and king prawn ravioli. Guests can enjoy their meal in the intimate dining room or on the more informal terrace that looks over the lush gardens and the sea.

Sumptuous Spa Experiences

Every room in the hotel spa has original 17th century ceilings and rustic walls in a nod to the hotel’s former life as a monastery. The spa features thermal baths, foot spas, an aromatic steam room, a rock sauna, hydro pool and sensory showers. There’s also a range of treatments on offer, all of which focus on using natural plants, flowers and aromatic oils.

Activities and Excursions

Guests at the hotel can take part in the Health & Hike experience, which starts with a guided walk that explores the Amalfi Coast, followed by a soothing spa treatment. You can also pick vegetables from the garden and the chef will then use them to prepare delicious, healthy lunches. If you’re looking to relax in the sun, head to the hotel’s luxury swimming pool.
