Six Senses Laamu

Six Senses Laamu

Six Senses Laamu is the only resort on the Laamu Atoll in the Maldives, offering both over-water and on-land luxury villas in a palm-fringed paradise. It’s also an eco-friendly resort and is dedicated to preserving the natural surroundings and ocean ecosystem.

An outstanding oasis

Six Senses offers a selection of beachfront villas with panoramic upper decks and direct access to the sandy shores. Providing plenty of opportunities for outdoor living, the accommodation includes sunloungers, treetop decks, private gardens, and some villas also have private pools.

Though the island promotes a natural lifestyle, modern amenities have not been forgotten. Rooms include flat screen TVs with satellite channels, Wi-Fi, iPod docking stations, air conditioning and a personal bar.

Dining and drinking

Dining at Six Senses Laamu is a luxurious affair, with a range of local and international cuisine served in exotic locations. The chefs at Leaf work with local fishermen and producers to source the ingredients that make the innovative dishes on offer. You can also experience Japanese fusion cuisine in a casual relaxed atmosphere at Zen, sample a variety of international flavours and fresh seafood at Longitude, or enjoy all-day dining at Sip Sip, with homemade pizzas, salads, pasta and burgers on offer. For an after-dinner treat, choose from 40 flavours of ice cream at the Ice & Chocolate Studio, before making your way to the Chill bar to enjoy refreshing cocktails and watch the sunset.

Exciting experiences

The sea that surrounds the resort is calm and clear with excellent visibility, making it perfect for diving and snorkelling. The atoll is famous for its waves and attracts surfers year-round, but there’s also a range of other sea sports to try, including windsurfing, water skiing and catamaran sailing.

Wind down after a long day of activities at the Six Sense Spa Laamu. Located right on the beach, it offers an array of natural treatments and holistic therapies.
