Hotel Description
This Four Seasons Resort welcomed its first guests in October
2008 and thereby ensured Mauritius can still rival anywhere in the
Indian Ocean for service and style. A villa-only property, it is
sprawled out over the mainland and an 11-acre private island, other
distinguishing features including an over-water spa and an 18-hole
championship golf course designed by Ernie Els.
A delightful collection of 123 pool villas and residences
are showcased here, each one designed to inspire a particularly
close connection with their surroundings. Natural woods and
volcanic stone succeed in bringing the spirit of Mauritius right
inside the room, whilst outside you'll find a landscaped terrace
with private plunge pool, as well as an exotic open-air bathroom
with garden shower and deep-soaking tub. If you like the idea of
escaping across the bridge to the idyllic 'Ile aux Chats' go for a
Lagoon Pool Villa or the Presidential Suite; wherever you stay
high-tech comforts like plasma televisions, coffee machines and
iPod docking stations all part of the deal.
Dining Information
The restaurants display equal flair; Acquapazza serving
contemporary Italian cuisine, Beau Champ offering southern French
dishes and Bambou where to go for something deliciously
pan-Asian.
Amenities
It wouldn't be a Four Seasons if it didn't have world-class
leisure options, the golf course and spa complemented by fitness
facilities and tennis with a PBI Pro, as well as an infinity-edge
pool overlooking the lagoon.
