This brand new ‘soulistically inspired’ retreat was conceived by the visionary Per Aquum Resorts hotel company. And visionary this place certainly is, as you stay in ‘Revives’, are looked after by ‘Soulmates’ and are generally helped along the way by holistic specialists. The whole idea is that singles, couples and friends check-in as they are, enter a ‘cocoon’ and emerge transformed; the bespoke 3, 7, 14 and 21-day experiences centred upon detox, weight loss and mind spa concepts certainly helping the process along.

The resort is spread across two pristine islands in the Gaafu Alifu Atoll in the southern reaches of the Maldives. A great deal of thought has been put into the accommodation here, each Revive featuring a private pool and in-room fitness equipment, as well as 7’x7’ beds and high-tech media centres. Yet the spaces are also totally conducive to relaxation and healing, with plenty of emphasis upon colour therapy, natural ventilation and outdoor living.
