The second Four Seasons Resort in the Maldives welcomed its first visitors inNovember 2006. The resort occupies the entire 44-acres of the island of Landaa Giraavaru in the remote Baa Atoll and comprises 102 beach bungalows and water villas all built in the traditional Maldivian style. To give you an idea of the standards to expect, the entry level Beach Bungalows feature plunge pools and separate living and sleeping pavilions; the Beach Villas are distinguished by their 12-metre lap pools, whilst Water Villas come with glass-fronted living areas, expansive decks and sea-gazing lofts.
