Nowhere reflects the hotel’s unbridled exoticism more than the beautifully decorated bedrooms and suites. Naturally each one is individually decorated and features include anything from intricately-carved ceilings and antique wooden doors to hand-painted furnishings and an eclectic mix of artifacts. Little things like Moroccan slippers, luxurious robes and crisp cotton sheets combine with big things like sensual bathrooms and spectacular mountain views, but if you really want to be blown away opt for the exquisite 3-bedroom Master Suite with its own roof terrace and private pool.
Of course, the infinity-edge pool can’t be surpassed for its panoramic vistas either, although the indoor pool, hammam and treatment rooms always beckon if you want to be pampered. And when it comes to dining, the traditional Moroccan, Berber or European dishes are served in the Kanoun restaurant and accompanied by fine wines and either candlelight, firelight or star light.
