Hotel Danieli

Hotel Danieli

Hotel Danieli combines three former palaces into one luxury hotel. Located in the heart of Venice, it offers visitors the perfect base from which to explore the city’s famous attractions and soak up the vibrant atmosphere.

Opulent accommodation

Decorated in a Gothic style by French interior designer, Jacques Garcia, the hotel’s rooms and suites feature high ceilings, wood-trimmed archways, gilded moulding, deep red armchairs, etched mirrors and Murano glass lamps to create a setting that feels both serene and theatrical. Many of the top-end suites include separate living areas with lagoon views. Although the accommodation may look like it’s from another era, each room features modern amenities such as flat-screen TVs, entertainment centres and high-speed internet access.

Dining and drinking with a view

Danieli Bistro offers breathtaking views over the lagoon and serves a range of authentic Italian dishes. The menu varies with the seasons, and a prestigious selection of Italian wines and handcrafted beers can be enjoyed with every meal.

Restaurant Terrazza Danieli serves breakfasts, lunch and dinner on the outside terrace with spectacular views across the lagoon and of the Island of San Giorgio. Food here is an exciting blend of Italian, Asian and Indian flavours. For after-dinner drinks, head to the rooftop Bar Terrazza Danieli, or the Gothic Bar Dandolo, which has live music and serves light snacks and afternoon tea.

Relax or explore

If you want to relax, why not treat yourself to a massage or spa treatment in your room? For something more active, visit the hotel’s well-equipped gym or take a trip to the Venice Golf Club, which is just a 35-minute water taxi ride from the hotel. Hotel Danieli is also ideally located for exploring Venice on foot, with attractions such as St Mark’s Square just a short walk away. Alternatively, take a romantic gondola ride around the city’s charming canals.
