THE COMPANY
AZURE is a fully bonded IATA tour operator with an ATOL licence granted by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). Our sales consultants have many years experience
matching discerning clients with the finest hotels and we pride ourselves on providing a very personal service, tailored to suit individual requirements.
THE HOTELS

Whilst our featured hotels are the best available, that does not mean all of them are right for you. To some people ‘luxury’ means a secluded rustic retreat, whilst to others nothing less than a glamorous international
resort will do. That is why it is so important you first read our brochure descriptions and then take advantage of our own personal knowledge. Please alsonote that amenities do vary from hotel to hotel and that whilst our properties offer most home comforts,
in some cases air-conditioning or bathtubs may not be available for example, whilst TVs are regularly omitted if they are felt to be intrusive. Whilst we have tried to include this information in our hotel descriptions, please do not hesitate to double check with us if any
item is very important to you. All brochure descriptionsare based upon inspections made by us or information passed to us and changes can sometimes be made with no advance notice. When we become aware of significant changes we will advise you or your
travel agent as soon as possible before departure.

HOTEL REFURBISHMENTS
Hotels are continually making refurbishments, although they tend to restrict most repairs to the low-season months or their closure periods. We will, of course, advise you of any significant maintenance work known to us at the time of your enquiry.
THE TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS
All our prices are based upon the services of scheduled international airlines. Any internal travel involves local scheduled airlines or charter companies. Our basic prices include economy class flights, but we have also negotiated excellent supplements for upgrading to premium classes of travel and these are available on request. When you arrive in your destination you will be met by one of our representatives and transferred by private vehicle to your hotel. In just a few cases, boat trips are necessary or the hotel provides the transfers and these may be shared with other guests.

THE SERVICE

Our service does not end the moment we issue your travel documents. We have local representatives in most of our destinations who will be pleased to give you assistance with local information and car hire etc. And whilst we are confident that problems will be
rare, they are also best placed to help should you have any difficulties whilst you are overseas. When we do not provide a local representative, please contact the General Manager of the hotel. Should no one be able to resolve the problem to your satisfaction,
please call us collect on 01244 322770 and we will do our very best to ensure you enjoy the remainder of yourholiday.

VACCINATIONS & HEALTH
At the time of going to print, no vaccinations are compulsory for the Maldives, Mauritius, the Seychelles or Dubai. Precautions against malaria are recommended in Oman and compulsory if you are visiting Sri Lanka or the malarial areas of South Africa, such as
the Kruger National Park area - Malarone is the recommended prophylactic and readily available onprescription. You should also ensure your polio and tetanus shots are up-to-date and consider vaccinations for hepatitis if travelling to South Africa or Sri Lanka. Vaccinations against typhoid and hepatitis

BEST TIME TO VISIT

High and low seasons are determined by a combination of demand and weather conditions, with hotter destinations always at a premium during European and North American winters. Please note the availability of certain facilities can be affected by the season or the weather, some hotel restaurants closing during periods of low occupancy or live entertainment cutting back from nightly to occasional.

The Caribbean
The Caribbean’s high-season is mid-December to mid-April, with hotel occupancies and prices reflecting this. Weather-wise, however, the islands can be visited year-round, although expect higher temperatures, more rainfall and increased hurricane activity between July and October.

Mauritius
The high and low-seasons are slightly less well-defined, although maximum demand again falls between December and April. These are also the hottest and rainiest months, however, and cyclones, though
rare, can be experienced during this time. Weatherwise, April to June and September to November are the most pleasant months.

The Maldives
The high-season is December to April, as it is hot and there is less chance of rainfall. This is also the best time to scuba-dive due to increased water clarity. Between May and October it is wetter and windier, with May and June particularly showery.

The Seychelles
Temperatures alter very little, although rainfall varies considerably. November and March are the wettest months, with most rainfall falling mid-December tomid-January. There is less rainfall May to September, with June to August the driest months.

Sri Lanka
If you’re visiting the west and south coasts or the hill country, the best time to go is December to March. If you’re going to the east coast, May to September isthe optimum time. Of course, December to March are always the busiest times because of demand.

Dubai & Oman
The high-season falls between November and May when the temperatures are pleasant. During the summer, it can get very hot and the fall in hotel prices reflects this. The holy month of Ramadam commences 1st September, 2008 and there are restrictions onalcohol, outdoor dining and entertainment during this period.

South Africa
The busiest time is the hot summer months between November and February, although the pleasant spring months of September and October, as well as the autumn months of March and April, are also popular. Whale-watchers should focus upon the winter and
spring months between June and October, whilst May to October is a good time for seeing game as the foliage is less dense.

India
Cochin area - whilst temperatures and humidity are generally high year round, November through April is probably best as these months have less rainfall. Delhi area - the best time to visit is the Cool Season
between October and February when the days are warm, dry and pleasant. Nights can be cold though, so take a few extra layers.
