FOUR SEASONS RESORT SEYCHELLES

Destined to be one of the most sought-after getaways in the Indian Ocean, the Four Seasons Resort Seychelles is scheduled to welcome its first guests in October 2008. And not only can these lucky individuals take advantage of all the world-class amenities that Four Seasons traditionally come up with, but they can also surrender to a serene ambience that is inherently stylish yet also distinctly Seychellois.

For this stunning resort has been conceived with its dramatic setting on the granite island of Mahé very much in mind. Indeed hand-split granite stone has been used throughout its construction, the tree-top inspired villas cleverly positioned to make the most of their elevated settings on a lush hillside overlooking the island’s south-west shores. Inside they comprise sitting areas, opulent Four Seasons-styled bathrooms and between one to six bedrooms, whilst outside there’s relaxation pavilions with dining areas, day beds and infinity-edge plunge pools. Some are hidden away amongst the cinnamon trees, some lie on the mountaintop and offer panoramic ocean views, whilst others boast easy access to the beach and are particularly suitable for families.

Indeed children are welcome here. The ‘Kids for All Seasons’ club will keep the youngsters entertained all day, whilst grown-ups can simply chill-out at the hilltop spa, indulge in some water sports or maybe take a boat trip to the largest population of giant sea turtles outside the Galapagos. Of course, they may simply prefer to relax on the private beach and mull over where to eat that night; the two on-site speciality dining venues complemented by some particularly worthwhile Creole restaurants nearby.
