This unique safari lodge prides itself on being at one with nature and, as it is sculpted into the earth itself, it really couldn’t get much closer! There’s just 12 suites here, each one featuring unique furnishings and generous bathrooms; all of them opening out onto alfresco showers and plunge pools looking out onto the bushveld beyond. Private butlers cater to your every whim, although chances are you won’t want for much here. Meals are served in the subterranean cellar or boma with its walls sculptured from roots, whilst the spa waits for when you hanker for a hydrotherapy bath or deep tissue massage.
