The Cape Cadogan is located in the same leafy suburb as the Mount Nelson, but that’s where the similarities end. This boutique hotel has just 12 rooms and a style that can best be described as Bohemian chic. Yet its history is almost as rich as its neighbour, the building originally a 19th century farmhouse that was ‘Victorianised’ in 1912 and finally declared a National Monument in 1984. The spacious guest rooms have all the comforts expected from an upscale city hotel, some also boasting their own private courtyards or balconies. Four 1-bedroom apartments and the Owner’s Villa are also available for rental, whilst public areas include a library, a lounge
with an open-fireplace and a dining room where breakfasts can be enjoyed overlooking
the pool.
ACCOMMODATION: 12 BEDROOMS & OWNER’S VILLA. ALSO 4 ONEBEDROOM
APARTMENTS.
ACCESS: 20 MINUTES FROM CAPE TOWN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.
CHILDREN: NOT ACCEPTED UNDER 8 YEARS, EXCEPT IN APARTMENTS.
7 NIGHTS: FROM £1,310 P.P. IN THE LOW-SEASON.
MEAL PLAN: BREAKFAST INCLUDED.
